Kashi , from ancient time Hindus visit for performing their religious rite to parent and ancestors. For Hindus in Kashi Lord Viswanath , the Mahadev, omnipresent Siva the supreme God Of Trinity and Ganga , the holiest river are most auspicious.
The entire Bharath , (the nation of King Bharath who brought the Holiest River Gangs from Heaven to earth with the help of Lord Rudra , Shiva ) present India linked from Kashmir to Kanyakumari by epics & Puranas which explained the Glory of Shiva , his divine song Vedas , his home Kailash , His 12 Jyothirlingas and his divine plays with his devotees.
If Shiva is superior deity of Hindus Kashi is His Capital Kingdom . So Kashi is Spiritual Capital of Hindus , the absolute majority in India .
So Sri Narendra Modi select Varanasi as his centre for National National Politics. Now the maharaja of India is elected from Spiritual capital of India .
